Whale watching at Los Cabos with Casa la Laguna

Casa La Laguna Familia, From renowned artists Greg Colbert and Paul Nicklen, to the famed ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau, all have found the majestic beauty of whale migration season to be an inspired event one simply can't miss.  Referring to the Sea of Cortez as "The World's Aquarium", Mr. Cousteau like so many of us, would revel in the often breathtaking moments nature displays during this unique and sacred time  of year.  SEMARNAT, the Secretariat of the Environment and Natural Resources for Mexico, has established our upcoming Los Cabos whale watching season as December 15 to April 15.  This is when varying species of whales will migrate from the cold waters of the north around Alaska, down to the warmer, inviting waters of Los Cabos.  We are so fortunate at Casa La Laguna to be ideally positioned, with guests often spotting Humpback and Grey Whales just off the shoreline of our secluded beach.  One takes in the spectacle from the Villa's oceanfront verandah, beachfront, or better yet, with chilled glass in hand as you enjoy the jetted spa... a more special experience you could not find.  And of course you can paddle right out to them in one of our guest kayaks. Should your passion for nature encourage more adventurous pursuits, our expert Concierge team has partnered with select local outfitters to curate Whale-Watching Expeditions unlike any other. Ranging from the luxurious, to the photography connoisseur, we have tailored options for all interests.  Mere moments from the Villa, Puerto Los Cabos Marina offers a seamless and convenient launch point.   We hope to host you soon, and share this inspiring and restorative time of year with our wonderful guests.
