Caiman Pantanal, Brazil

Updated: May 11

No day is the same in the Pantanal as it is in a refuge. Nature is in charge here and it is alive, organic and always changing. But one thing is certain: there isn’t a day when it doesn’t produce exciting moments like this one, so well recorded by @oncafari ‘s guide.

Caiman is a 53,000-hectare true oasis with the conservation of fauna, flora and the Pantanal culture at its heart, founded 35 years ago by a nature-loving conservationist located in Brazil. The new main lodge at Casa Caiman boasts 18 boutique rooms, each equipped with air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, and an outdoor terrace. Its public areas include a swimming pool, a deck with a view of the bay, a cozy living room with a fireplace, a hammock area, and a bar and restaurant.
